IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE DESIGN
My immersive work focuses on creating experiences that transport guests into a new world where they are greeted by curious characters, challenged by unique puzzles, and granted the agency to shape the narrative. My designs for projects like Ambrosia Incorporated and Crimson Rose blend worldbuilding, puzzle systems, and live interaction into experiences that surprise and delight.
DIGITAL GAME DESIGN
Across nearly every platform, I’ve designed systems that support exploration, creativity, and long-term engagement, from user-generated-content games like Rec Room to mobile, AR/VR, and licensed titles. My work spans systems design, economy design, narrative framing, and data-driven live operations at large companies like EA and Wargaming as well as small startups, several of which I co-founded. I’m especially interested in how players teach themselves through play, and how well-designed systems can support wildly different play styles within the same experience.
TABLETOP GAME DESIGN
Tabletop design is where my foundation in worldbuilding, systems, balance, and emergent play was forged. I’ve designed cards for several Magic: The Gathering sets, worked on external IP like the Kids Next Door Trading Card Game, and hold shared patents on unique games like Hecatomb. This work sharpened my ability to create compelling game worlds and systems that are deep, surprising, and durable over time. Those same principles now guide how I design interactive experiences across all mediums.
